Thanks so much for sharing your life on the farm. It's a breath of fresh air.

Thanks for sharing! Have no idea how you and Jill can keep all these balls up in the air and still enjoy the ambiance of the Malone magnificent homestead! We all need to snuggle up to Mother Earth rather than falsely believe we can improve

on God’s design. It is an uphill battle to this end!

You inspired me to plant vegetables in April, which I hadn't done in many years. I've harvested a few cucumbers, several jalapeños, and one golden zucchini. My skills and my yields have thus far proven minimal/modest, but I've still enjoyed picking and eating. I sautéed the zucchini in butter with a chopped up jalapeño, sprinkled salt and lemon pepper, and it was quite nice. Several tomatoes are on the way.

That is awesome you were inspired to plant some vegetables! It is so much fun to grow your own food, & it is a learning experience each planting season, through harvesting! My Daughter started seedlings this past April, & now has several large containers growing with tomatoes, cucumbers, several types of peppers, watermelon, & dill!

I planted huge pots with tomatoes, bell, jalapeño and chili peppers this Memorial weekend from small plants purchased at Lowe’s. I already have peppers and one tomato on the vine! How fun to watch my little garden grow inspired by our very own Malone family.

Goodness; although enviable, do you two find any me time ? I know you have both been industriously busy educating us about frailties in medicine, it's associated science and Government in addition to your farm. I wish you continued endless energy.

Some people are at their best when planning their next foray and then engaging in it. It makes life exciting and rewarding to be surrounded by the fruits of one’s labor. Bonus, as doc says, it helps to keep you fit! Having a partner is tops, but if not - pets, small and large will keep you going.

Safe travels you two and I hope the birthing waits for your return!

Ya, I thought his comment on partners was a little limited. He seems to be talking about his experience, and yet there are other partnerships to consider. Living without a physical partner is part of the mix. So many ways to live!

Yes, but his point is not only statically valid for longevity, but truly sharing life experiences with someone in and of itself is fulfilling. My horses and cats don't share my experiences, so it's like those experiences never happened. They do depend on me, so they keep me going.

Over on Maryland's Eastern shore my garlic is ready and the beans are just about like yours! With all your two have given to the effort of bringing truth to an ever deceitful world, I'm so relieved that you have these outlets to keep you sane. And that you have each other

Maybe the good doctor could share his experience with dealing with animal consciousness, where is the line between free choice and instinct? That would make a good post someday.

Your attention to detail and specificity shows up on the farm just as in your professional work. I appreciate your comments about the importance of relationships. We have a war going on against the nuclear family with the Drag culture, CRT and wokeism in general. I have no ax to grind with the gay community and relationships matter there as well. Still, the marriage between one man and one woman raising the children their love produces is the foundational institution in any society. The nuclear family needs to be supported.
